Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

1. Improve receipt quality through effective receipt controls, escalation of repetitive issues/ suppliers etc.  
2. Monitoring the effectiveness of actions taken on part non-conformances,
3. Ensure quality of incoming components at receipt stage as per drawings.
4. Drive detailed analysis for failed parts at assembly.
5. Monitor vendor rejections & implement sampling inspection techniques through statistical techniques.
6. Monitor and improve components audit process and review component audit part parameters considering warranty, yard & line issues.
7. Take up the issues with design team for resolution where parts are found ok as per drawings.
8. Standardize and upgrade receipt inspection system. 
9. Rejection handling for supplier parts
10.Co-ordination with other stakeholders like manufacturing, SQI & sourcing etc.
11.Improving inspection methodologies including gauges/equipment identification & rediness to ensure speedy inspection.

B Tech/BE/DME Mechanical/Automobile / Production Engg.

General Experience

7-10 Years

1) Knowledge of quality systems, DWM etc
2) Process domain Knowledge for forging, casting and machining processes. 
3) Problems Solving Skills & QC tools convesant 
4)Knowledge of ISO TS 16949 &  Business Processes 
5)New Part Development - Inspection & Testing 
6) Understanding and interpretation of engineering drawings
