Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
Sr. Executive- EHS (O Band)
Roles & responsibilities:
- Implementation of EHS Policies and Group safety guidelines.
- Responsible for all the statutory body compliances i.e. DISH, GPCB, CPCB, MoEF etc.
- Monthly and Annually submission of GBCB compliances through XGN Portal.
- Conduct EHS Trainings, mock-drills, safety committee meetings and all good practices as per requirement of Gujarat Factory rules and maintain all the records.
- Periodic medical examination and health checkups with coordination of FMO.
- Responsible for maintaining Fire safety equipment healthy by regular inspection and maintenance.
- Operational knowledge of Fire pumps and other safety equipments.
- Exposure to hazardous chemical handling safe practices and emergency handling.
- Conduct Internal Audits, plant safety inspections periodically to develop and sustain good EHS Culture.
- Responsible for conducting third party safety audits as per IS 14489 and other EHS audits with effective compliances.
- Responsible for work place monitoring, stack monitoring, ambient air monitoring and other statutory requirements.
- Hazardous waste management at site. Storage, segregation, transportation and treatment as per Hazardous waste management rules with coordination of authorized vendors.
- Knowledge of IMS system implementation- ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
- Conduct risk assessments, EIA, Incident investigations and other activities whenever required. Implementation of Permit to work system at site.
- Responsible for CAPA of all non-conformities in time bound manner.
