Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Job Purpose

To supervise manufacturing operations for electric vehicle components, focusing on motor and drivetrain assembly, NVH testing, and quality control. Drive productivity improvements through lean practices, digitalization, and automation.

Key roles and responsibilities

  •  Ensuring In-house Auto Winding Production, Process and Quality.
  •  Responsible for Auto Winding, Connection, Testing, VPI, Baking and motor Assembly.
  • Rework Clearance.
  • Implementing and leading 5-S and LEAN projects for process.
  •  Ensuring Winding Process with high standards of Quality and Production.
  •  Implementing best practices to Reduce Rejection - Enhancing Coil Making, Winding production.
  • Leading the Assembly of induction motors.
  • Establish SOPs.
  •  Maintain Standard Winding Practices.
  •  Oversee motor and drivetrain manufacturing including gear sub-assembly, differential assembly, and NVH testing.
  •  Lead rejection control at NVH End-of-Line (EOL) and implement corrective actions.
  •  Apply MOST, LEAN, and Work Study techniques to optimize work content and eliminate non-value-added activities.
  •  Develop and implement software logic for digital manufacturing systems (e.g., MES).
  • Ensure compliance with BBS, IATF, EHS-OHSAS audits and drive closure of observations.
  •  In-process manufacturing expertise (motor, drivetrain, NVH testing).
  •  SAP / ERP hands-on experience must.
  •  Quality tools: 8D, RCA, PDCA, PFMEA, SPC, MSA.
  • SOP creation, Kaizen, 5S, Line balancing.
  •  Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
  •  Experience in digital transformation and MES system.

Experience

3 to 8 yrs.

Industry Preferred

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
