Assistant Manager - QMS

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

1. Maintain and improve the Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100, or other applicable standards.
2. Develop, review, and control quality procedures, work instructions, and documentation.
3. Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of audit findings.
4. Monitor compliance with quality requirements across all departments.
5. Facilitate Quality Review Meetings and track action items as per MOM.
6. Conduct gap assessments and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
7. Support customer, supplier, and certification audits.
8. Track Quality KPIs and prepare quality performance reports.
10. Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs), corrective actions (CAPA), and preventive actions.
11. Provide QMS-related training and awareness programs to employees.
12. Ensure document and record control processes are effectively maintained.
13. Lead root cause analysis activities using tools such as 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, and 8D methodologies.

Experience

3 to 6 years experience in in Quality Management Systems or MR role

Industry Preferred

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in  Engineering, or a related field.
Certified Internal Auditor/Lead Auditor preferred.
