Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Oversee logistics operations to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
  • Manage inventory levels, ensuring that stock availability meets production requirements while minimising excess.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders through excellent communication and collaboration.
  • Conduct supplier visits to identify opportunities for improvement and establish partnerships.
  • Apply your knowledge of process engineering and costing to streamline operations and reduce costs.
  • Prepare reports and analyses to inform management about the performance of supply chain activities.
  • Continuously assess supply chain processes for efficiency, recommending adjustments where necessary.
  • Participate in training and development initiatives to enhance your skills and the capabilities of your team.

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong exposure to procurement, logistics, and inventory management.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively connect with stakeholders at different levels.
  • A flexible approach to travel for supplier visits, as required.
  • Fundamental knowledge of process engineering and a good grasp of costing principles.
