Assistant Manager- WH & LV Testing

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
- Strong knowledge of Vehicle Architecture and vehicle-level validation with respect to DFMEA, technical specifications, and automotive standards.

Experience in analyzing lessons learned, interpreting CAN data, and identifying/highlighting issues through root cause analysis.

Good knowledge of Low Voltage (LV) components such as lighting systems, wiping systems, switches, sensors, and related vehicle electrical systems.

Hands-on experience in harness testing and validation as per vehicle architecture requirements and electrical system integration.

Ability to prepare DVP (Design Verification Plan), validation time plans, and sample requirement matrices for effective test execution and project tracking.

Work closely with design teams, suppliers, and test laboratories to plan, monitor, and track validation activities and ensure timely completion.

Responsible for preparing test setups, developing and automating test systems based on test requirements, executing validation tests, releasing test reports, and performing preliminary analysis of observed concerns.

Knowledge of EMI/EMC requirements and experience in conducting and supporting harness EMI/EMC testing and validation.

Hands-on experience with testing and diagnostic tools including:
- CAN Analyzer
- CAN Data Analysis Tools
- Oscilloscope with Current and Voltage Probes
- Bi-directional Power Supply
- Function Generator
- Digital Multimeter (DMM)

Responsible for ensuring timely completion of validation activities and successful product delivery by collaborating with design, quality, and software teams to achieve zero-defect targets. Capable of making independent technical decisions.

Support the Homologation Team in completing regulatory compliance and certification activities.

Sound knowledge of DQA (Design Quality Assurance), DFMEA, 8D Problem Solving, Why-Why Analysis, Fishbone (Ishikawa) Analysis, and other quality and root cause analysis methodologies.
Experience
1 to 3 years
Industry Preferred
Automotive (OEM) industry with knowledge in handling LV harness at System level and vehicle level

Hands-on experience with automotive testing and diagnostic tools such as CAN Analyzer, CAN Data Analysis tools, BUSMASTER, Oscilloscope, Pulse Generator/Function Generator, Electronic Loads, and Data Loggers.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis using quality tools and methodologies such as 8D, Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), and the 7 QC Tools.
