Deputy Manager - Embedded Systems

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

1. Design and implement RTOS solutions for various applications
2. Develop system architecture and write clean, scalable code
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on design and implementation
4. Conduct thorough system tests to ensure optimal performance
5. Debug and resolve technical issues and errors
6. Ensure compliance with coding standards and technical design guidelines
7. Stay updated on latest RTOS technologies and advancements
8. Maintain comprehensive software documentation

Drive optimization, testing, and tooling to improve data quality

Functional Competencies / Critical Skills

1. Proven experience as an RTOS Engineer or similar role in software development

2. Proficiency in Embedded C

3. Experience in various RTOS configurations

4. Strong understanding of real-time operating system concepts (IPC, synchronization, memory management)

5. Knowledge of Tricore microcontroller/processor architectures

6. Advanced debugging techniques using tools like JTAG, Logic Analyzers, in-circuit debuggers

7. Familiarity with communication protocols: CAN, LIN, SPI, Ethernet
