Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
As a Deputy Manager - MQA at Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Limited, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality assurance activities for electrical components in the EV industry. Some of your key responsibilities and deliverables will include:
- Utilizing your expertise in Power electronics and electrical components to validate processes such as PCB, Wire harness, BMS, Cells, Relays, and Diodes.
- Implementing Quality assurance activities like Zero defect stages and Poka yoke to ensure product quality.
- Conducting in-process quality assurance checks according to SOPs and standards such as MPPAP, FMEA, Control plan, MSA, and SPC.
- Monitoring daily internal rejections and taking corrective measures promptly.
- Collaborating with the field/application team to address customer complaints effectively.
- Conducting audits - Process, Product, and Layer audits to maintain quality standards.
- Adhering to QMS, facilitating continuous improvement, and resolving quality issues efficiently.
- Utilizing your knowledge of SPC, structured problem-solving methodologies, rejection analysis, and ISO/IATF documents.
Experience
To excel in this role, you should have a solid experience of 6 to 9 years in the relevant industry. This experience should include hands-on involvement with Power electronics, quality assurance activities, process validation, and familiarity with industry standards and methodologies.
Industry Preferred
The ideal candidate for this position would have experience in the Automotive industry with a focus on the EV domain. Understanding the specific challenges and requirements of this industry will be advantageous in effectively carrying out the responsibilities of the role.
Qualifications
To be considered for the role of Deputy Manager - PVT, you should hold a BE degree in Electrical & Electronics or ECE. This educational background, combined with your hands-on experience, will provide you with the necessary knowledge and skills to succeed in this position.
General Requirements
The successful candidate should possess a range of general requirements including knowledge of manufacturing processes, debugging electrical circuits, understanding vehicle electrical architecture, proficiency in using testing instruments, experience in developing end-of-line tests, and awareness of standards like ESD and IPC. These requirements will ensure that you are well-equipped to handle the complexities of the EV industry.
