Deputy Manager- Motor & Transmission Val

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute validation activities for motor, drivetrain, axle, and transmission systems covering performance, efficiency, NVH, vibration, and durability requirements. 
• Execute test protocols, manage test rigs, and ensure readiness of laboratory test setups.
• Prepare instrumentation and CAN/analog data acquisition systems for testing and validation activities. 
• Perform testing and analysis of Motor and Motor Controller Unit (MCU) performance parameters. 
• Analyze test results, road load data, and performance metrics using sensors such as strain gauges and accelerometers. 
• Coordinate with external testing agencies to execute validation plans and ensure timely completion of testing programs. 
• Conduct teardown inspections, identify root causes of failures, and drive corrective actions using quality tools such as 8D, FTA, and Why-Why Analysis.
• Design and develop test fixtures, evaluate transmission and driveline interfaces, and support static and dynamic test activities.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, resources, and facilities, while preparing technical reports and ensuring compliance with testing standards and safety requirements.
