Deputy Manager - Quality Planning EPT

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Co-ordinate the Quality Planning & Assurance activites during New Product Development related electric power train development

Prepare project scalability matrix & maping delivarables as per the guidelines 

Prepare & propose Quality Targets for New Products. Ensure timely Product quality evaluations to assess gaps for corrective actions. 

Ensure completion of DFMEA/ DMU / DFA / DFS, interface sign off

Esnure lesson learnt deployment in design phase

Monitor & drive for Reliability Growth Analysis. Ensure MTBF targets are met as per set targets

Facilitate problem solving methodology and ensure closure of product concerns, use of suitable methodology such as QC Story & 8D 

Generate Quality Dashboard by highlighting Quality Red alerts/Risks

Drive, Assess & track MEPDS / MPDS Gateway deliverables of project and publish status 

Participate in quality events - Bench marking, FI Jury target setting & Risk sign off etc.,

Horizontal deployment of M&M best practices related to quality planning 

Build & validation concerns tracking with initial data analysis & drive for closure.  

Experience

The ideal candidate for this role will have 5-10 years of experience in a large four-wheeler automobile company, with a proven track record of success in quality planning and assurance for new product development. Strong knowledge of quality tools, methodologies, and processes will be essential to excel in this position.

Industry Preferred

While experience in the automobile industry is highly preferred for this role, candidates with a background in related industries such as automotive engineering or manufacturing may also be considered. A deep understanding of quality management systems, industry regulations, and product development processes will be advantageous.

Qualifications

The qualified candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or Production Engineering. Additional certifications in quality management, reliability engineering, or project management would be a valuable asset. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment are essential qualifications for this role.
