Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

As a Deputy Manager of Supplier Quality Assurance at Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Limited, you will play a crucial role in establishing and implementing a comprehensive quality plan for the bought-out parts of the Electrical & Electronics commodity. Your responsibilities will include performing incoming inspections, coordinating concern resolutions with the field and assembly line teams, and ensuring that lessons learned from product families are shared for new product development. Additionally, you will be involved in new product development improvements, corrective action planning, supplier performance monitoring, and driving performance excellence.

Experience

The ideal candidate for this role will have 6-8 years of experience in a large four-wheeler automobile company, with a track record of handling best-in-class products and systems. Your expertise in quality assurance and supplier management will be essential in ensuring the highest standards of quality across all processes and products.

Industry Preferred

While experience in the automobile industry is preferred, candidates from related industries such as manufacturing, production, or engineering will also be considered. Knowledge of quality standards, supplier audits, and PPAP processes will be highly beneficial in this role. The ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and drive continuous improvement initiatives is key to success in this position.

Qualifications

The qualifications required for this role include a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or Production Engineering. Additional certifications in quality management or Six Sigma will be a plus. A strong technical background combined with hands-on experience in supplier quality assurance is essential for effectively carrying out the responsibilities of this position.
