Deputy Manager - Simulation & Modelling

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Generate and Calibrate Vehicle Pedal maps, Brake maps, Regen Maps and Parameters related to Torque Path, Creep control, Hill Hold Control, Vehicle tip-in/tip-out, Acceleration, Speed limitation, Torque limits etc
2. Perform Vehicle level drivability calibration/Torque Path calibration to meet Drivability targets
3. Perform Calibration for meeting Range and Energy Consumption Targets both at Inhouse and at Homologation/Certification/Test facilities
4. Work on model based calibration methods using pre-simulation of functions and features before actual calibration on vehicles
5. Work closely with Simulation and Modelling engineers to gather relevant insights relevant for calibration
6. Perform calibration of  Sensors used for SoC measurement
7. Perform calibration of Battery management system (BMS) functions
8. Performa Calibration of specific motor control parameters related to driveability
9. Coordinate with other departments such as architecture, software development & validation team to ensure achievement of calibration goals
10. Manage and maintain all calibration changes as applicable to different vehicle variants
11. Be able to take test drives of atleast limited driving maneouvres and hold a valid 4wheeler driving license

Functional Competencies

1. Must have worked in atleast any one ECU/VCU Drivability Calibration Project
2. Exposure to Calibration tools - ETAS INCA, Visu,VECTOR Cannoe, AVL
3. Must have overview of Vehicle compnents and its functionalities
4. Valid 4 wheeler driving license and ability to carryout atleast simple limited test drives
