Deputy Manager - Wiring Harness Electrical

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

1. Preparation of wiring harness Schematics in Capital logic inline with System E&E Architecture.
2. Work closely with wiring harness 3D team for the layout changes & execute the changes in CHS work bench.
3. Preparation of wiring harness layout & synchronization in capital harness XC.
4. Theoretical calculation of voltage drop & Fuse load calculation for the vehicle loads.
5. Hands on experience in selection of wires, Fuses, Connectors & relays for automotive application.
6. Selection of components including HV components like HV contactors, fuses, precharge resistors etc.
7. Vehicle build support and issues resolution.
8. Vehicle level troubleshooting for E&E interface issues & resolution.
9. Knowledge on electrical components functionality & its failure modes.
10. Hands on experience for wiring harness DVP & DFMEA creation.
11. Supplier & Cross functional team handling for all E&E interface and development activities.
12. Benchmarking & Generation of VAVE ideas for better product performance,quality,cost & weight.

General Requirements

1. Good knowledge of Vehicle Electrical Schematic & System Architecture.
2. Expertise in using Siemens CHS for Logic, Capital harness XC, Library & Symbol.
3. Fundamental knowledge of electrical components such as Switches,Cluster,Lighting system & Sensors.
4. Knowledge on Wiring harness design & development.
