Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
1. Key Tasks and Deliverables
- Develop and maintain MATLAB/Simulink–based software models for embedded systems
- Translate system and software requirements into robust, testable Simulink models
- Perform Model‑in‑Loop (MIL) and Software‑in‑Loop (SIL) testing to validate functionality
- Debug and optimize models within the MATLAB environment
- Support software integration and system‑level testing activities
- Collaborate with system, hardware, and validation teams to ensure end‑to‑end software quality
2. Critical Must-Have Deliverables
- High‑quality MATLAB/Simulink models aligned to system and software requirements
- Successful execution of MIL and SIL validation cycles
- Effective software debugging and defect resolution
- Contribution to software integration and test readiness
3. Good-to-Have Deliverables
- Contribution to Battery Management System (BMS) software feature development
- Support for model optimization, reusability, and documentation best practices
- Exposure to embedded code generation and model‑based design workflows
Experience
- Minimum 4+ years of hands‑on experience in MATLAB/Simulink model development
- Strong experience in understanding and interpreting system & software requirements
- Practical knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Proven experience in software debugging within MATLAB/Simulink
- Hands‑on exposure to MIL and SIL testing
- Prior experience in software integration and testing

Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Computer Science, or a related engineering discipline
