- Explore & specify technology needs in alignment with business strategy, brand aspirations, and competitive landscape to develop an initial business case.
- Review and identify the most appropriate technology solutions for LMM products, documenting the chosen technology route.
- Evaluate the suitability of technology for target markets and secure access to necessary intellectual property rights (IPR).
- Define project needs and development requirements, including initial cost estimations and resource requirements.
- Conduct initial feasibility studies and risk assessments, identifying potential technology risks and developing mitigation plans.
- Identify potential roadblocks and develop strategies to achieve New Technology readiness.
- Confirm the project’s continued relevance and update the business case as needed.
- Develop a high-level project plan, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Define internal and external team members and resources required for the project.
- Oversee the development of prototypes and initial cost models.
- Develop detailed cost models and backup strategies, ensuring alignment with quality targets and processes.
- Develop process flowcharts, concept FMEA, and design rules to ensure quality and efficiency.
