As the Senior Manager - Validation at Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Limited, you will spearhead the vehicle validation activities with a focus on electrical and powertrain systems integration, ensuring that the vehicles meet rigorous quality and performance standards before market release.

  • Lead comprehensive integration testing for eKits with an emphasis on powertrain components and electrical system functionality, ensuring seamless interoperability across subsystems.
  • Design, implement, and manage an extensive Design Verification Plan (DVP), developing test cases and protocols that rigorously validate vehicle performance, durability, and safety requirements.
  • Oversee the durability testing phase for eKits to ascertain long-term reliability under varying operational conditions and stress scenarios.
  • Conduct detailed vehicle-level testing encompassing internal combustion engines (ICE), compressed natural gas (CNG), and diesel engines, with attention to emissions, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
  • Analyse extensive vehicle data to identify root causes of malfunctions or performance deviations, supporting continuous improvement for CDT vehicles and enabling automation of DVP vehicle testing workflows.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including eKit Centres of Excellence (COE) and Component Powertrain Heads (CPH) to expedite issue resolution, promote innovative solutions, and enhance system integration quality.
  • Coordinate timely tracking and closure of identified issues by driving communication and follow-ups with involved teams across the organisation.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) like Test Case Prioritisation, Escape Ratio, and Issue Turnaround Time, leveraging data to improve validation processes and ensure project milestones are met effectively.
  • Foster a culture of excellence and continuous learning within the validation team to drive operational efficiency and innovation in testing methodologies.

This role requires leadership in driving strategic initiatives in vehicle validation, working under minimal supervision, and contributing to the product development roadmap by ensuring robust, compliant, and market-ready vehicle systems.
