Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
1. Key Tasks and Deliverables
- Lead end‑to‑end system requirement development for automotive electronic controllers across the V‑model lifecycle
- Translate vehicle‑level and customer requirements into clear, testable system and software requirements
- Review and interpret hardware schematics to ensure system‑level design alignment
- Drive AUTOSAR‑based software architecture discussions in collaboration with software teams
- Guide root‑cause analysis and resolution of field issues with speed and technical depth
- Coordinate technically with hardware, software, validation, manufacturing, and quality teams
- Mentor and guide a team of 2–4 engineers to ensure on‑time, high‑quality deliverables
2. Critical Must-Have Deliverables
- Automotive controller system requirements compliant with internal and OEM standards
- Robust system‑level interfaces for CAN / CAN FD communication
- UDS and J1939 diagnostic definitions and validation support
- AUTOSAR‑aligned system inputs for software development
- Effective resolution reports for field and integration issues
- Consistent technical leadership and task execution by the assigned team
3. Good-to-Have Deliverables
- Hands‑on contribution to embedded software development activities
- System‑level involvement in BMS, On‑Board Charger, or DC‑DC Converter programs
- Support for functional safety or cybersecurity discussions at system level
- Process improvements in requirements management or issue‑tracking workflows
Experience
- 8–10 years of experience in automotive electronics system engineering
- Proven experience in automotive controller system requirement development
- Strong exposure to basic hardware development flow with schematic understanding
- Hands‑on experience with CAN / CAN FD communication
- Solid working knowledge of UDS and J1939 protocols
- Mandatory experience in AUTOSAR‑based software development environments
- Prior experience in technical coordination with cross‑functional teams
- People management experience leading 2–4 engineers

Qualifications
- B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
