Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Expertise in Development & delivery of Powertrain Control systems for Electric Vehicles

A) Create and execute the overall controller development for Electric Vehicles
1) Identify the trends in Electric Vehicle architecture and design the Control functions to meet the vehicle platform requirements including scalability, flexibility, security, cost, quality and timelines.
2) Lead the development of EPT Controllers for electric vehicle. 
3) Drive discussions with cross-functional teams including embedded, software, hardware, mechanical and thermal design teams for SW maturity & delivery as per Milestones
4) Understand the Vehicle Platform requirements and communicate to EPT Module members for development
5) Define and optimize the delivery timeline with various ePT related systems including propulsion, battery, charging, etc.
6) Complete knowledge on Software V- Cycle
7) Understand the various milestones for the Vehicle SOP and collaborate with various stakeholders to understand the pre-requisite and drive the EPT SW delivery
8) Collaborate with Vehicle Validation, Developers, and understand the issues, bugs and queries
9) Has potential for in-depth understanding on the system validation & verification
10) Has in-depth understanding of System degradation strategies, relevant arbitration & priority selection strategies as applicable to EV domain.
11) Planning of soft-tools and resources to meet the deliveries.
12) Preparation and presentation of technical papers.
13) Creating good working atmosphere in the team.
14) Comfortable in leading change and customer oriented.

2) Thorough Knowledge of Validation & Verification
2) Brief knowledge of other vehicle systems interacting with EV Modules (ABS, ESP, Immobilizer, IC, HVAC etc.)
