Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Key Tasks and Deliverables

Define and govern IVN & Diagnostics architecture for Electric Powertrain systems across EV platforms.
Develop and maintain long-term architecture roadmaps aligned with emerging technologies and standards.
Lead cross-functional technical discussions with software, hardware, and service teams to ensure seamless integration.
Oversee design, validation, and optimization of in-vehicle network topology and diagnostic strategies.
Ensure compliance with cybersecurity and functional safety standards while maintaining a robust fault matrix.
Mentor and upskill engineering teams to build domain expertise and capability.
Evaluate and manage the impact of design changes on overall vehicle architecture.

Critical Must-Have Deliverables

Comprehensive IVN & Diagnostics architecture documentation for EV platforms.
Validated network topology and diagnostic solutions meeting OEM standards.
Cybersecurity and functional safety compliance reports.
Fault matrix and change impact analysis for all design modifications.

Good-to-Have Deliverables

Contribution to innovation projects in advanced EV networking and diagnostics.
Development of internal best-practice guidelines and training modules.
Participation in industry forums and standardization committees.

Experience

8–10 years in automotive networking, diagnostics, and system architecture.
Minimum 3 years in a technical leadership role managing architecture and compliance.
Proven experience in Electric Powertrain systems and EV platforms.

Industry Preferred

Automotive OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers specializing in EV systems, diagnostics, and networking.

Qualifications

B.E/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech in Electrical, Electronics & Communication, or Instrumentation Engineering.

General Requirements

Competencies and Skills

Functional Competencies

Expertise in CAN, LIN, Ethernet, and Network Management protocols.
Strong knowledge of UDS, OBD, KWP2000, SAE J1939, AUTOSAR standards.
Understanding of embedded software and hardware development processes.
Familiarity with cybersecurity and functional safety standards (ISO 26262).

Tools and Techniques Used

Hands-on experience with Canalyzer, Canoe, CANDELA Studio.
