Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
Key Tasks and Deliverables

Design and implement control algorithms for Vehicle Control Units (VCUs) using MATLAB/Simulink and Stateflow.

Execute model simulations, validation, and auto-code generation via Simulink Coder, Embedded Coder, or TargetLink.

Conduct MIL, SIL, and HIL testing to ensure model robustness and performance.
-
Perform peer code reviews using Embedded C, C++, Python, and M-Script.
-
Ensure seamless software integration through structured build sequences.
-
Collaborate cross-functionally with hardware, software, and systems teams for end-to-end integration.
-
Support vehicle-level calibration and tuning of control parameters.
-
Ensure traceability of requirements using Polarion or DOORS.
-
Maintain comprehensive documentation including functional descriptions, SORs, test specifications, and validation reports.
-
Ensure compliance with ISO 26262 and ASPICE standards throughout development lifecycle.
Critical Must-Have Deliverables

Validated and auto-coded control models for VCUs ready for deployment.

Successful execution of MIL/SIL/HIL testing cycles with documented results.

Traceable and compliant requirement documentation aligned with ASPICE and ISO 26262.

Integrated and tested software builds with issue resolution reports.

Functional diagnostics implementation using CAN, LIN, and UDS protocols.

Contribution to design reviews with actionable technical insights.

Support for ADAS, EV, Torque Path, Charging & Energy Storage Systems.

Development of reusable libraries and model templates for future projects.

Optimization of calibration parameters for enhanced vehicle performance.

Participation in innovation initiatives or patent filings.
Experience
-
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in model-based development for automotive control systems.

Proven track record in embedded software development and validation.
-
Experience with vehicle-level testing and diagnostics using industry-standard tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.E/B.Tech) in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field.

Certifications in MATLAB/Simulink or Embedded Systems (preferred but not mandatory).
