Manager - Data Analytics (Lead Data Scientist)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Lead Data Scientist to join our team at LMM PD, with a proven track record of leading successful data science projects and teams. Selected candidate will play a critical role in driving the development and implementation of advanced data analytics solutions to solve complex business problems.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and algorithms
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, and business stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables
3. Develop and Execute technical strategies and progress updates to stakeholders and executive leadership
4. Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in data science, machine learning, and AI, and evaluate their potential impact on our business
5. Lead the evaluation of new AI tools, frameworks, and methodologies, advocating for the adoption of technologies that align with our strategic goals
6. Capable of translating business problem statement into machine learning problem statement
7. Design e2e analytics pipeline

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) preferred
2. Minimum of 5-8 years of professional experience in data science or related fields
3. Proven experience leading data science projects from inception to delivery, with a strong focus on business impact and value creation
4. Expertise in machine learning, statistical analysis, and predictive modelling techniques
5. Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Python, and/or Java, along with experience in data manipulation and analysis libraries, and expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, AWS(Lambda,ECS,Superset), and MLops
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders
7. Experience in predictive analytics within the automobile domain is a plus
8. Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments is a plus
9. Experience in Data engineering and Data visualization platforms is a plus
10. Experience working on cloud platforms such as AWS Cloud is a plus
