Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Role Purpose

We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Testing Lead to drive end-to-end vehicle validation and testing activities across the product development lifecycle. The role is critical in ensuring vehicle performance, reliability, safety, and customer satisfaction through comprehensive validation under real-world operating conditions.

As the validation owner, you will act as the key link between engineering, quality, manufacturing, and testing teams, ensuring that design intent is successfully translated into production-ready products.

Key Responsibilities

Own and lead end-to-end vehicle validation activities from concept to production and field feedback stages.
Participate in benchmarking, target setting, Digital Mock-Up (DMU) reviews, and validation planning.
Develop and execute comprehensive validation plans aligned with program milestones.
Coordinate and drive vehicle testing activities through internal teams and external agencies.
Identify, analyze, and escalate system-level issues, ensuring timely resolution through cross-functional collaboration.
Provide physical validation of vehicle performance, bridging the gap between simulation results and real-world usage.
Support Engineering Sign-Off (ESO) activities and program readiness reviews.
Contribute to production ramp-up support and field failure investigations.
Drive closure of validation concerns and ensure alignment between design, manufacturing, and quality functions.
Monitor validation risks, testing bottlenecks, and resource requirements to support successful program delivery.

Experience

6 to 9 years

Industry Preferred

Qualifications

B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, or related disciplines

General Requirements

Deep understanding of vehicle validation processes and testing strategies.
Hands-on experience with instrumentation, testing equipment, and data acquisition systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and drive issue resolution.Excellent planning, execution, and stakeholder management skills.
