Manager - Proprietary Electronics

1. To design and develop power electronics platforms for an electric vehicle including MCU, AC to DC (On Board Charger), Charging Box, Charging cable with earth leakage detection and DC to DC converters, ensuring adherence to performance, quality, cost, and weight targets, as well as manufacturing requirements
2. To establish product specifications, derive system architectures and converter topologies for various applications stated above.
3. To optimize the layout and packaging of electronic components within the vehicle's Digital Mock-Up (DMU), considering all aspects of functionality and manufacturability.
4. To conduct various simulations and analyses, such as worst-case scenarios, Monte Carlo simulations, tolerance stack-ups, power dissipation, and stress analysis, to support the selection of power components, system architectures, and power conversion topologies.
5. To keep track of global trends in relevant technology, regulations and develop long term road maps and appropriate work plan.
6. To drive designs of the power components such as power switches, gate drivers, magnetics, bulk capacitors, and power filters.
7. To work with cross functional teams for functional safety, thermal, packaging, EMI/EMC, FMEA, Worst case analysis.
8. To engage product development teams from concept to production including design proposal, design reviews, test plans, and test results review.
9. To ensure support to CDMM team for on-time closure of DFM, VOB, TKO.
10. To drive all IMCR/ Ideation initiatives.
