Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

We are looking for a Program Manager to lead and coordinate AI projects specifically in the used vehicle domain. This role is ideal for a technically adept individual who understands the nuances of both AI/ML and the automotive sector. You will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end execution of AI initiatives — from scoping and stakeholder alignment to delivery and post-deployment optimization. This is a Bangalore-based role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Ownership: Lead cross-functional AI initiatives across product, engineering, data science, and business teams, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • AI Delivery: Manage timelines and dependencies for machine learning models (e.g., price prediction, vehicle condition scoring, fraud detection).
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders (e.g., product, sales, marketing) and technical teams (data scientists, ML engineers).
  • Roadmap Planning: Define program roadmaps, OKRs, and delivery milestones across multiple AI-driven products and platforms.
  • Execution Excellence: Implement agile methodologies, manage sprints, retrospectives, and drive issue resolution.
  • Risk Management: Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively manage changes in project scope or timelines.
  • Market Understanding: Stay informed on the used car market dynamics, customer behaviour, and AI trends to shape product direction.
  • Reporting & Communication: Provide regular updates to leadership on program status, KPIs, and blockers.

Must have requirements

  • ~3 years of program/project management experience in tech or AI-centric organizations.
  • Proven experience leading AI/ML initiatives (preferably in automotive, fintech, or e-commerce domains).
  • Familiarity with AI/ML lifecycle – data collection, labeling, model training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Strong understanding of the used car ecosystem – pricing, inventory, inspection, marketplaces, etc.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (Jira, Asana, Notion, etc.).

Nice-to-Have requirements

  • Technical background (B.Tech/BE in Computer Science or related field); MBA is a plus.
  • Exposure to AI compliance, explainability, or model governance.
