Senior Engineer - ePT System Engineering

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
Expertise in developing system functions for High Voltage Electric Vehicle Powertrain :
1) Understand and able to create the LV,HV System Architecture and Network Architecture from the EPT Requirements and specifications.
2) Does System Function Classification by Identifying, Analysing and Synthesizing all the stakeholders needs and customer requirements.
3) Define the Block Diagram, Flowchart, Sequence and Swimlane diagram for a System Function.
4) Define the E/E Hardware and Network interface specification for the identified EPT System.
5) Able to create, release and maintain the System Architecture Artefacts in ALM.
6) Collaborate with module teams to drive the System Architecture design and development discussions.
7) Be the focal point for any change requirements and assess the impact on the EPT architecture/design/performance/etc.
8) Drive in-depth technical discussions like System FMEA, DVP's, Issue Resolution action plan etc,..
9) Able to create, release and maintain system degradation strategies applicable to EV EPT domain.
10) Able to understand, review and signoff the functional safety requirements for Electric Powertrain.
Experience
4 to 7 years related experience in Core Vehicle Electrical & Electronic architectural design, Vehicle networking, and Diagnostic areas in EV domain

Qualifications
B.E/B.Tech;M.E./M.Tech in Electrical and Electronics /Electronics and communications/ Electrical and Instrumentation engineering
General Requirements
Competencies:
4- 7 years of experience in Automotive Electric Vehicle Control SW functions development.
Good Knowledge on Embedded Software and Hardware Interface development
Able to be flexible and prepared to travel in India
Proactive, self-motivated, and attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal and customer facing skills.
Strong teamwork, organizational, oral communication, and written communication skills and ability to coordinate multi-disciplined team.
Strong Knowledge in electric Power Train Requirement analysis and Architecture design
Good Documentation skills and traceability management for requirement documents
Experience in Application Lifecycle management tools
Good Knowledge on the Automotive product development lifecycle is an added advantage
Good Knowledge in Automotive Embedded System Hardware and Software Product development.
Good Knowledge on Automotive Communication Networks CAN, LIN
