Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

1. Must have strong technical knowledge in performing functional safety engineering activities for Electric Vehicles at electric powertrain level that includes all High Voltage Components including Hardware and Software
2. Must have hands on experience in performing Part3, Part4, Part5 and Part6 activities of ISO26262
3. Capability to interpret hardware and software design documents and perform verification analyses such as eFMEA, reliability calculations, FTA, FMEDA, PMHF, DFA and FFI etc 
4. Actively participate in product design reviews to ensure that functional safety is considered early and throughout the entire product lifecycle.
5. Evaluate new functional safety concepts and methods, and assess supplier safety compliance as per ISO 26262 requirements.
6. Experience in delivering and assessing safety work products from item definition to safety case.
4. Capability to negotiate supplier responsibilities through Development Interface Agreements (DIA).
5. Should have good communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
6. Passionate about fostering Functional Safety skills among colleagues by conducting trainings
7. Functional Safety Professional certification is an added advantage.
8. Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to validate safety requirements at HIL/SYS HIL/LabCar/Vehicle Level Validations 
9.  Should be a certified functional safety engineer 
10. ASPICE and Cybersecurity knowledge and certifications are preferred
11. Experience in confirmatory reviews, safety assessments and audits for Functional Safety work products accoring to ASIL
12. Any journel publications in IEEE/SAE, patents in relavance to FuSa domain considered as added advantage
