Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
OIL Channel Development by building strong market relationship at Primary & Secondary level.
• To provide OIL market feedback in terms of product, quality, Promotion, pricing, etc. to ensure that they are in tune with market requirements.
• To build rapport with Distributors/ distributors to ensure that the channel is developed.
• To redress problems/ complaints of Distributors/ distributors by providing timely & relevant MIS from time to time.
• To work with Zonal Spares Manager, Area Office, Product Lead OIL to ensure goals and objectives set for Zone/Territory are met.
• To ensure that annual OIL targets are achieved as per plan.
• To build primary & secondary network in Bazar Trade in specified territory.
• To understand and analyze market, develop a plan for stockiest OIL sales targets
• Primary Sales
• Collection
• Development of white-space and monitoring of retailer network and secondary sales
• Development of white-space and monitoring of mechanic, end user channel, local promotions.
• To develop local promotion and branding strategy.
• To understand and analyze market, develop a plan for stockiest/ distributor part sales targets.
• To enhance channel reach, penetration and effectiveness of secondary channel.
• To use information of the market analysis and appoint distributor at identified white-space cluster.
• To assist in designing programs/ incentives to help build Distributors` capability, commitment and loyalty in consultation with Zonal Parts Manager & Product Lead for OIL.
• To ensure development of distributor capability and Distributors personnel in channel related initiatives by training them and keeping them updated on the Company`s objectives and new developments.
• To provide information on performance of Distributors on a weekly & monthly basis.
• To ensure that market and pricing feedback is updated periodically and utilized effectively.
Education Qualification
Bachelor of Engineering/Btech, MBA (preferred)
General Experience
5-10 years
• Oil/Lubricant Industry like Shell, Castrol, Valvoline
Critical Experience
Proficient in MS Office (Excel & Power point)
Data, Trend analysis & Forecasting skills
Preferably SAP hands on experience
