Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

As a Territory Manager - Sales at Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd in the Farm Division, you will play a crucial role in generating and converting enquiries for the Mahindra portfolio targeted towards farmers with high land holdings. Your responsibilities will include offering farm mechanization solutions tailored to various crop stages, partnering to enhance farm productivity through showcasing proof of concept and demo models, exploring new revenue opportunities for farmers, and upskilling laborers/tractor drivers for optimal application of farm mechanization equipment.

You will also be involved in bundled solution-based selling, demonstrating the superiority of Mahindra tractor + implement product range to potential customers. Your work will contribute to driving sales and revenue growth in the farm sector.

Education Qualification

To qualify for this role, you should ideally possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Agriculture, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Additional certifications or training in sales, marketing, or agriculture would be advantageous. Strong knowledge of the farm sector and understanding of agricultural practices will be beneficial in performing the job effectively.

General Experience

The ideal candidate for this position will have a proven track record in sales and business development within the agricultural industry. Experience in selling farm mechanization solutions, tractors, or related equipment will be highly advantageous. Familiarity with the territory and market dynamics in Karnataka - Bellary will be a plus, enabling you to effectively identify and capitalize on sales opportunities. Demonstrated proficiency in key account management, lead generation, and market research will be essential for success in this role.

Critical Experience

In addition to general sales and business development experience, critical experience for this role includes expertise in consumer insighting, customer relationship management (CRM), financial management, and sales planning. The ability to drive revenue generation, manage customer profitability, and implement effective marketing campaigns will be key to excelling in this position.
