Deputy Manager - Industrial Engineering

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
> Perform cycle time studies to verify that actual production operations meet planned targets
> Study operations sequence, material flow, and project information to determine worker functions and responsibilities
> Create standard work procedures to ensure good work practices are implemented
> Consult with production supervisors on the generation of work standards
> Recommend methods for improving utilization of personnel, material, and utilities
> Provide consultation to both process and production engineering groups for improvement in production line design
> Draft and design layout of equipment, materials and workspaces to ensure maximum efficiency
> Estimate production cost
> Plan and establish sequence of operations to promote efficient utilization
Experience
5 to 7 Years
Industry Preferred
Automotive / EV / Manufacturing Industries
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial, Process, or Manufacturing Engineer
General Requirements
> Experience in high-volume mass production
> Advanced skills with the Internet, data entry, spreadsheets, and word processing, specifically with Microsoft Word and Excel
> Working knowledge and application of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
> Working knowledge of cycle time analysis
> Working knowledge of cycle time planning by MOST analysis
> Working knowledge of ergonomic methods training & application
> Working knowledge of pull method production planning (Kanban)
> Working knowledge of standard work planning & application
> Working knowledge of TPM
> Working knowledge of work standard planning & application
> Knowledge on work measurement analytical methods, plan by mathematical calculations for staffing requirements for production operations
> Coordinate production efficiency improvements, focusing on work reduction and quality improvement
> Responsible for efficient systems that integrate workers, machines, materials, information, and energy to make a product .
> Review production information to understand methods and activities in manufacturing.
> Production schedules, process flows and engineering specs.
> Design control systems to minimize and resolve production issues
> Develop standards for production and design inputs by working with CFT
