Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Shall have a very good understanding/working experiences on Adhesive & Sealant domain.

Support development of adhesives and sealant materials expertise within the team and throughout business.

Characterization and approve materials for applications on body and power train.

Shall have exposure on testing and validation of Adhesive & Sealant products.

Update and maintain sealant and adhesive characterization database

Shall have good awareness on global Advanced technologies in Automotive Adhesives & Sealants.

Generation of materials, testing and engineering specification activities.

Resolving material related problems from conceptual to production phase.

Stakeholder in material manufacturer sourcing decision.

Provide material related cost saving suggestions.

Expertise in problem solving tools and able to lead problem resolution activities

Basic knowledge of CAE and CMVR requirements

Experience

6 to 8 years

Experience on BIW, Trims, Seating’s and power train functions on material development and queries. Role include selection, specification, validation of adhesives and sealing materials and allied process for current and existing platforms

Industry Preferred

Qualifications

BE / B Tech – Chemical, Polymer Engineering
