Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
1. Project Deliverables:
Develop and execute test cases to validate system functionality, ensuring compliance with safety and performance standards. Ensure that product development follows established processes and industry standards.
Set up and calibrate various test track instruments, sensors, and crash test dummies to simulate real-world driving conditions, including emergency situations and critical safety tests.
Perform hands-on testing on closed test tracks using a variety of driving scenarios and vehicles equipped with ADAS technologies by configuring the ego vehicle, target vehicle and dummy vehicle platform movements using industry specific tools.
Capture and analyze logs from vehicle testing, ensuring that data is accurately interpreted and used to drive improvements.
Work closely with the CFT team to setup End-of-Line (EOL) calibration and verification stations.
Provide feedback on potential improvements or adjustments needed for the systems, based on real-world test results.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in ADAS, automotive safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
2. Quality Maintenance:
Ensure that the design, development, and testing processes maintain the highest level of quality.
Define and execute DVP (Design Verification Plan) to validate the system against requirements.
3. Technical Expertise:
Have hands-on experience with vehicle network architecture, specifically CAN (Controller Area Network) and Ethernet, and test their integration into the ADAS system.
Use CAN and Ethernet tools for diagnostics, testing, and analysis of vehicle communication.
Experience
2+ years for (M.E/M.Tech)/ 4+ years for (B.E/B.Tech) in automotive systems engineering with a focus on ADAS or related fields, including hands-on experience with ADAS vehicle testing.

Competencies
Proficiency in testing and scripting languages such as C, C++, and CAPL.
Strong understanding of vehicle network architecture, including CAN and Ethernet protocols.
Hands-on experience using CAN and Ethernet tools (e.g., Vector CANalyzer, CANoe, Wireshark).
Experience in DVP, and testing methodologies.
Expertise in setting up, calibrating, maintaining and executing test track equipment
Strong knowledge of ADAS systems, including sensors (cameras, radar), ECU, and algorithms.
Knowledge of ADAS features, technologies and sensor fusion.
Experience in ABD/4a platforms, Steering robots and CBAR robots
