Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

1. Resolve Customer complaints and line concerns through ICA/PCA, root cause analysis Implementation. 2. Ensure assembly process adherence to drawings and SOPs for defect-free output. Identify process gap and corrective actions with cross-functional teams (CFT). 4. Manage change control, FTR approvals, PPAP and APQP documentation for new models. Maintain quality documentation, traceability, and update Control Plans, SPC, MSA, SOPs, FMEAs. 5. Ensure on-time closure of quality gateways and project deliverables. Attend daily quality meetings and release MIS reports. 6. Sustain QMS as per ISO 9001:2015 / IATF 16949 standards. 7. Conduct process & product audits on transmission assembly lines. 8. Monitor and validate Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH) performance of gearbox assemblies during end-of-line testing. 9. Analyse abnormal noise patterns, whine, rumble, and vibration issues and drive corrective actions with design, manufacturing, and supplier teams. 10.Ensure quality assurance of servo press operations including bearing pressing, gear seating, and shaft assembly. 11.Ensure effective functioning of gearbox test benches for functional, torque, leak, and performance testing. 12.Analyze test bench failures, abnormal trends, and intermittency issues to prevent escapes. 13.Drive improvement actions to enhance test bench reliability and repeatability |
