Assistant Manager - PVT DAC

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Commodity: DAC
1. Will be responsible for attending vehicle level joint investigations to identify root cause of concern in field pan India
2. Should able to drive the vehicles
3. Vehicle systems knowledge is must.
4. Will be responsible for resolving internal concerns related to DAC.
5. Data analysis
6. Daily monitoring of field complaints & effectivity of actions
7. Genearte Field concern MIS & publish report, PPT for higher management
8. Take appropriate actions in association with manufacturing, supplier quality & design & for closure of field & internal concerns 
9. Speedy & time bound closure of emerging concerns & immobilisation concerns 

 

Experience

BE - 3 - 6 Yrs. With Experience in Automotive Engine Manufacturing 

Industry Preferred

Automotive, OEM

Qualifications

B.E - Mechanical / Automobiles

General Requirements

1. Willing to work with own hands
2. Willing to travel across country at short notice for joint investigations
3. Vehicle systems knowledge.
4. Good understanding of DAC systems like Chassis, Suspension, steering & wheel ends.
5. Good understanding on vehicle level interface of DAC systems
6. Good understanding on manufacturing processes like fabrication, sheet metal, machining etc
7. Systematic root cause analysis of  Failures by QC story approach , 8D methodology  Should be able to demonstrate problem solving ability using problem solving tools.
8. Conversant with shinin DOE technique, preparation of Fault Tree for  Analysis,Ishikawa diagram, statistical tools
9.  Knowledge of Basic 7 QC & Advance QC Tools. 
10. Understanding of engineering drawings, process flow diagrams, control plans etc.
11. Good at data management & interpretation of data to draw meaningful conclusions
12. Good at Excel & Power point presentations.
