Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

1. Provide support and involvement in new product development, identifying and driving improvements through early involvement into product development Process and completion of joint PPAP as part a CFT.
2. Drive collaboration with suppliers to improve manufacturing processes and deploy processes and tools.
3. Monitor supplier performance measurement, supplier audits and Supplier Corrective Action Request (SCAR), etc

4. Ensure that the lessons learned from product families are shared with the platform team (Design, Develepment,etc) for new product development as input for prevention of repeated known issues
5. Develop and ensure implmentation of process norms for management of suppliers by
- Verification of products and services from the suppliers.
- Evaluation of performance of suppliers and monitor the improvement plans
- Enhance technical capabilities of vendor through systems and knowledge upgradations

6. Review, Analyze and implement results of quality audits at all locations.

Manufacturing process knowledge and product application knowledge of Electric powertrain components including High voltage and Low voltage Wiring harness circuits, Integrated Power distribution unit (IPDU), Battery, DC-DC Converter, Battery management System, Integrated Motor (PMSM), Vehicle control uni VCU, Basic architecture ( Charging) and Basic architecture (CAN network)

Experience in Manufacturing process development, process audits, quality/problem solving tools, APQP/PPAP+U46
Ability to take strong positions and not bow to pressure, high level of analytical ability.

Prefered to have awareness of software related to Power modes for EV, HEV (e. g. start-up, driving, charging, error) Torque request acquisition and validation Torque Management on HEV

ASQ, Six Sigma/ Lean Manufacturing certification is preferable
