Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
'- Provide support to SQE Team for Supplies Quality Improvements in current models in production and involvement in new product development of Engine, Trasmission and Electric Powertrain components - Identifying & driving improvements through early involvement into product development Process and completion of joint PPAP.
- Drive collaboration with suppliers to improve manufacturing processes and Product.
- Monitor supplier performance, supplier audits and Corrective Action Plan (SCAP) / G8D etc.
- Collaboration - Work closely with cross functional teams including COE, Development, Production etc. to address quality issues and ensure alignment with overall project goals.
- Ensure lessons learned from product families are shared with platform team for new product development as input for prevention of known issues.
Develop and ensure implementation of Systems at supplier end:
- Conduct supplier audits and verify compliance with specification and industry standards
- Investigate and resolve quality related issues in collaboration with suppliers and internal teams by using Systematic Approach & Problem solving tools (Six Sigma, QC Story etc.)
- Evaluation of performance and monitor the improvement plan through enhancing technical capabilities and knowledge.
Perform the role of People Manager :
- Manage and support recruitment, Set & Monitor KRA's for direct reportees, ensure clarity of individual roles & responsibility, conduct performance appraisal.
- Facilitate the development of subordinates through constant on and off the job learning, job rotation, etc
- To guide, motivate and develop the sub-ordinates
