Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
Process feasibility study for new product requirements in existing facilities.
Benchmarking Body Shop FTGs, electrical controls, automation and systems for energy efficiency and corrosion protection enhancement of product.
New product planning - Facility, tools, gauges and fixtures, budget workout, procurement and implementation Study to Sweat existing equipment to maximum.
Work out budget for equipment and related civil/utility requirement.
Adaptation of new product in existing facilities with Equipment enhancements for introduction of new models and variants.
Study the process and product requirements and Guide others in selecting the right equipment based on requirements interact with manufacturing and collect equipment related MTBF and MTTR Data and incorporate the same in new equipment requirement RFQ preparation Interacting with teams and facilitate lesson learnt sessions for on going and concluded projects and take action accordingly for RFQ.
Detail study of sustainable New technology processes, equipment, systems, material evaluation for implementation.
Conducting MFMEA along with equipment supplier.
Installation, commissioning and post installation support.
FTR / ETR Product Launch as per CME and Product Quality Matrices Adherence.
Ensuring project timelines are adhered to from CME BIW FTGs perspective.
Capex monitoring and reduction. Benchmarking of OEM's and suppliers for equipment.

Education Qualification
Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical / Automobile
Bachelors of Technology in Mechanical / Automobile
Diploma in Engineering in Mechanical / Automobile
General Experience
2 to 8 years of relevant experience in Equipment planning.
