Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
The Deputy Manager - MQA Paintshop at Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd plays a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of paint quality within the Automotive Division. - Ensure and uphold paint quality by implementing proactive measures to monitor and control processes, thereby preventing any quality failures.

- Review and analyse quality data on a daily basis, planning actions based on findings regarding rework, rejections, and both internal and external customer complaints.
- Plan and execute quality strategies for the paint shop for new models, colour launches, and other projects to assure excellence and adherence to standards.
- Conduct a thorough analysis of field complaints and develop an action plan to tackle paint-related issues effectively.
- Facilitate seamless communication and co-ordination with the body shop, TCF shops, and PVT regarding all aspects of paint shop quality.
- Oversee and facilitate quality-related internal and external audits to ensure compliance and continuous improvement practices.
- Promote team morale by sharing insights and feedback related to outgoing quality, underlining its critical importance to product quality and brand reputation.
Education Qualification
The ideal candidate will possess a B.Tech in Surface Coating Technology or Paint Technology, equipping them with the foundational knowledge necessary to excel in this role. A focus on continuous learning and development in paint technologies is paramount, as it enables the candidate to stay updated with industry trends and advancements.

- Proficiency in PFMEA, Control Plans, QMS, SPC, TPM, and other quality management tools to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
- Strong analytical skills, coupled with hands-on experience using problem-solving tools such as DOE, 8D, MYB, MGB, and QM analysis.
- Adept managerial skills to facilitate informed decision-making based on situational analysis and team inputs.
- High proficiency in MS Office applications to manage reports and analysis efficiently.
- In-depth understanding of paint shop processes and equipment, ensuring all operations align with best practices.
- Experience in stakeholder management, fostering relationships and ensuring collaborative success across departments.
