Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Commodity: B&T 1. Will be responsible for resolving field concerns related to Trim parts across platforms 2. Data analysis  related to concerns. 3. Daily Repair orders , Service concerns , Field concerns monitoring 4. Daily monitoring of field complaints & effectivity of actions 5. Reduction in field concerns by correct root cause analysis & speedy implementation of corrective measure to meet organisation targets 6. Discussions with various stakeholders for analysis , like supplier , SQE , R&D , Customer care etc. 7. Respond to escalated TAR [ tecnical Assistance] to Dealers for concern resolution. 8. Deployment of  lessons learnt in upcoming models based on past learnings. 9. participate in RGA [realibility Growth analysis ] to identify and resolve product concerns proactively. 10. Genearte Field concern MIS & publish report, PPT for higher management 11. Carry out joint investigations in field to arrive at root cause 12. Take appropriate actions in association with manufacturing, supplier quality & design & for closure of field & internal concerns 13. Speedy & time bound closure of emerging concerns 14. warrnty parts disposal with correct attrinution after analysis.

Qualifications

B.E - Mecahnical / Automobile [ additional qualification  of plastic , Plymer technology will be added advantage]

 

General Requirements

1. Product Knowledge.- For  Trim parts ,like IP, Door trim pad , plastic trims , AC vents , grab handles , consol , seats , glass. 2. Good understanding of palstic manufcaturing processes its defects and remedies - like injection molding , Vacumme forming ,  ultrasonic welding , extusiosn , etc. 3. Good understanding on vehicle level interface of plastic parts , interface with other vehicle parts 4. Good understanding on manufacturing process of trim parts other than plastics like carpet , soft trims etc, 5. Systematic root cause analysis of  Failures by QC story approach , 8D methodology  Should be able to demonstrate problem solving ability using problem solving tools. 6. Conversant with shainin DOE technique, preparation of Fault Tree for  Analysis,Ishikawa diagram, statistical tools 7.  Knowledge of Basic 7 QC & Advance QC Tools. 8. Understanding of engineering drawings, process flow diagrams, control plans etc. 9. Good at data management & interpretation of data to draw meaningful conclusions 10 Willing to work with own hands 11 Willing to travel across country at short notice for joint investigations 12. Good at Excel & Power point presentations. 13 BIW , mecahnism parts knowledge will be added advantage 14 Good knowledge in handling trim parts concern resolution , 15 abale to generate solution for problems . 16. should able to drive and get implement solutions.
