Deputy Manager - Plant Engineering

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

• Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to increase productivity and reduce waste.
• Conduct time and motion studies to establish standard cycle times.
• Identify process bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.

• Perform line balancing studies to optimize workforce utilization.
• Determine manpower requirements based on production volume.
• Assess machine and production line capacity.
• Support new model launches and production ramp-ups.

• Monitor labor productivity and operational efficiency.
• Analyze material handling and inventory costs.
• Support cost-saving projects and productivity improvement programs.

• Improve material flow and workstation ergonomics.
• Support expansion and facility modification projects.

Experience

10 to 15 yrs.
