Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables:

•    Conduct Supplier Audit (System Audit, Process audits and Product Audit) at Suppliers end. 
•    Evaluate new suppliers & represent Quality in Supplier Technical Review as a part of team with PD & Sourcing.
•    Identification of critical process controls & implementation at supplier end for newly developed & modified parts. 
•    Conduct PPAP/ PFMEA/ control plan approval by document verifications, onsite process verification for New and modified components. 
•    Initial sample Parts approval in co-ordination with Sourcing, SQI & R&D.
•    Conduct System and Process audits at Suppliers end 
•    Reporting of non- conformities to the suppliers on regular basis and follow-up with supplier for corrective & preventive actions implementation through documents (CAPA or 8D Report) on Quality issues reported at receipt, Line & from the customer end. 
•    Co-ordinate with supplier, PD, Sourcing & CQA for improving the production reliability by initiation the corrective & preventing action for identify projects from Internal Customer & Warranty 
•    Interact with supplier for analysis and Corrective actions on Quality issues reported by RQA & CQA related to internal & external customer complaints 
•    Monitoring the effectiveness of corrective actions taken at supplier end by reviewing the results in next lot. 

Experience

6 – 10 Years - B.E/ B Tech (Mechanical/Production/Automobile) Engg.
9~18 Years- - Diploma in Mechanical/Production/Automobile Engg.

DME/B. E. /B.Tech (Mechanical/ Production/Automobile)

General Requirements

Specialized Skills:

• Diploma/BE Mechanical with additional qualification in quality management programs.
• 9~14 years’ experience in handling SQA / SQE in an automotive organization handling mechanical/Hydraulic parts quality.
• Technical expertise in spur/helical gears, crown wheel pinion, differential gears, shafts, casting/forging machining,sheet metal process, hydraulic pumps, hydraulic valves, parts related to braking system (master/slave cylinder), Clutch assly, Tie Rods, Transmission assly etc.
• Thorough knowledge on Quality tools and techniques, 8D, QC Story, DOE, 5Why, FEMA, PPAP etc.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and their controls.
• Six Sigma (Green or Black belt) will be added advantage.
• Preferably A Certified lead auditor for IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 QMS standard.
• Good working knowledge of MS office.
