Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
1. Basic knowledge of Engine & Transmission components like Sintered Parts, Differential case, Bearings, Forks, Aluminum casting & machined parts etc. along with metallurgical inspection mechanism.
2. Basic knowledge about different barcode terminology and its know how.
3. Support for immediate containment actions for line / Field issues and proper communication to different stake holds within quick time.
4. Trouble shooting of BTP as well Proprietary components and drive action at supplier end for betterment.
5. Drive collaboration with suppliers to improve manufacturing processes and deploy best practices, FTG`s and detection.
6. Provide support and involvement in new product development improvements through early involvement into product development Process and completion of joint PPAP with CDMM.
7. Department data monitoring for best in class drive like PPCM, Z stations, Change management, Emission parameters etc.
Participation & Co ordination of concern resolution with Field, User plant and in-house for critical parts
Monitor supplier performance measurement, supplier audits and Supplier Corrective Action Request (SCAR), etc.
Develop and ensure implementation of process norms for management of suppliers by Verification of products and services from the suppliers.
Performance evaluation of suppliers and monitor the improvement plans
Enhance technical capabilities of vendor through systems and knowledge upgradations
Review, Analyze and implement results of quality audits at supplier end.
Deployment of M&M best practices at Supplier end like Z stations, Tier 2 Monitoring, HSPPD etc.
Experience
4-8 Years
Industry Preferred
Automotive (Ford, Suzuki, GM, Cummins, Renault, Daimler, Ashok Leyland, Eicher, TAFE, TATA, John Deere etc.)
