Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
| As a Deputy Manager - Supplier Quality Engineering (Electrical & Electronics), you will play a pivotal role in supporting and actively contributing to the development of new automotive products, principally in the domains of Mechanism and Electrical components such as Window Regulators, Door Latches, Starter Motors, Alternators, Fuel Dispensing Modules, and Wiper Motors. You will be responsible for early identification and driving of quality and process improvements throughout the product lifecycle, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams. |

Education Qualification
| Candidates should possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably BE or B.Tech, specialising in Mechatronics, Electrical & Electronics, Automobile, or Mechanical Engineering. This educational foundation is essential to understand complex automotive systems and associated manufacturing processes effectively. |
| Applicants with further certifications or advanced coursework related to quality management, product development, or automotive manufacturing technologies will be considered favourably, indicating a commitment to continuous professional development. |
General Experience
| The ideal candidate will have between five to seven years of relevant industry experience following completion of their BE/B.Tech degree. This experience should ideally encompass extensive exposure to supplier quality engineering within the automotive sector or similarly regulated manufacturing environments. |
| Experience in managing supplier relationships, driving quality assurance processes, and supporting new product introductions will be key. Familiarity with quality standards, audit processes, and collaborative project work is also expected to ensure successful delivery and impact in this role. |

| In-depth knowledge of automotive electrical and mechanism products is essential, particularly components such as Starter Motors, Alternators, Window Regulators, Door Latches, Wiper Motors, and Fuel Dispensing Modules. Understanding their product characteristics and manufacture processes including advanced assembly methods, surface treatments, specialty motor processes, and testing protocols is critical for effective quality management. |
| Preference will be given to candidates with hands-on expertise in process development for manufacturing, experience conducting process audits, and application of quality and problem-solving methodologies like Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), and Six Sigma. Familiarity with daily work management techniques and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams including plant operations and supplier personnel is also expected. |
