Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

| Candidates should hold a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably a BE or B.Tech, with specialisations such as Mechatronics, Electrical & Electronics, Automobile, or Mechanical Engineering. This educational background equips candidates with a solid understanding of complex automotive systems, electrical and mechanical component design, and manufacturing processes essential for the role. |
| Preference is given to applicants who have pursued additional certifications or advanced studies in quality management, automotive manufacturing technologies, or product development disciplines. General Experience
| The ideal candidate will possess between five to seven years of hands-on experience in supplier quality engineering or related roles within the automotive industry or industries with rigorous quality and compliance requirements. This experience should demonstrate a progressive track record of managing supplier relationships, conducting quality audits, and supporting the introduction of new products from development through launch. |
| Experience managing cross-functional teams during critical project phases, familiarity with automotive quality standards such as IATF 16949, and practical exposure to quality system implementations will be highly advantageous. Candidates should be comfortable working in dynamic environments requiring agility, clear communication, and effective problem-resolution skills. |
| Prior involvement in driving continuous improvement projects, supplier development programs, and usage of quality tools to mitigate risks related to supplier deliveries will contribute significantly to succeeding in this role. |

| In-depth technical knowledge of automotive electrical and mechanical components is critical. You should possess a comprehensive understanding of products such as Starter Motors, Alternators, Window Regulators, Door Latches, Wiper Motors, and Fuel Dispensing Modules, including their design features, manufacturing techniques, surface treatments, specialty motor processes, and quality testing standards. |
| Candidates with demonstrable expertise in process development, supplier process audits, and proficient application of quality management frameworks such as Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), and Six Sigma methodologies will be preferred. Knowledge of daily work management best practices and experience collaborating closely with plant operations and supplier teams to enhance quality systems and processes is highly valued. |
