Deputy Manager - Transmission Assembly

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

• Set production and deploy manpower as per schedule and TACT
• Monitor, improve and sustain Cell’s performance w.r.t. PQCDSM
• Identify and provide on-job training to operators for enhancing their versatility
• Ensure manufacturing processes are carried out as per the SOPs/ SOS
• Participate in various CFTs like EN, DCP, PPAP, QCRT etc, ensuring linkages of documents is maintained
• Initiate correction & corrective actions with proper analysis in consultation with MFG Mgr./ HODs for defects raised from customer, non-achieved indicators & other deviations
• Planning and ensuring harmonious IR environment & ensuring safe working environment
• Ensure prompt response to customer concerns
• Follow TPM methodology for reducing process variability in the workstation/ dept.
• Ensure stage buy-off are calibrated to customer requirements and trends are maintained
• Participate in change implementation programs
• Identify of non-conforming material on stages and take disposal action
• Ensure proper MIS for management reporting, timely & periodical updation of respective DWM charts
• Preferred Skill or Experience
• Knowledge of NVH testing machine
• Knowledge of Gear Geometry & Manufacturing processes
• Analytical skills to resolve NVH issues of Transaxle or Transmission
