Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

• Developing Warehousing solutions for setup of new warehouses/operate current warehouses.
• Knowhow on basic warehouse design : Basic warehouse design & layout with usage of CAD, Loading Docks, Security arrangements, explore sustainable building practices and materials to reduce the warehouse's environmental footprint, Expansion Planning, Regulatory Compliance to ensure that the warehouse building design adheres to all relevant building codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards. Obtain the necessary permits and approvals.
• Plan and manage warehouse improvement projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Maintain detailed documentation of warehousing solution designs, including warehouse layout plans, process maps, and project reports.
• Tailor racking and shelving solutions to the unique needs of the warehouse. Custom designs may be required to accommodate oversized items, irregularly shaped products, or other special storage requirements.
• Design and implement inventory control processes to minimize excess stock and improve order fulfilment rates.
• Updated on the latest advancements in storage solutions and technology to continually improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the warehouse design.
• Calculation/Estimation on manpower requirement through MOST studies or relevant work study methods.
• Enabling processes where parts can be tracked within/outside warehouses.
• Always having problem solving approach through discussions & engagement with different teams.
• Working with teams sitting at different locations
• Co-ordination with different departments & plants to ensure new ideas are generated & implemented

Experience

 3 to 9 years of experience in Warehouse Management, Inventory Management, Packaging, Logistics, Supply Chain Management

Qualifications

Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical / Automobile 
Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical / Automobile 
Diploma in warehouse management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management
