Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Cost Optimization & Efficiency Improvement in Mfg Operations :

Continuously analyse non‑core manufacturing processes to identify excessive conversion costs.

Propose and implement cost‑reduction opportunities with clear, measurable targets.

Leverage emerging technologies and digital solutions to streamline operations.

Optimize employee‑related, labour, and indirect material costs through automation and process redesign.

Drive sustainable savings and operational excellence by aligning cost initiatives with overall business goals.

Strategic Mfg Planning & AI-Driven Capability Enhancement :

Define and implement the long-term manufacturing strategy and roadmap for the coming years.

Elevate capabilities at existing plants by conceptualizing, planning, and executing targeted AI-driven solutions.

Ensure alignment of manufacturing initiatives with business objectives, driving efficiency, innovation, and competitiveness.

 Strategic SCM & Technology-Driven Optimization :

Define and implement a long‑term Supply Chain Management strategy to enable best‑in‑class customer delivery.

Leverage AI and advanced technologies to optimize SCM spend, labour requirements, and operational efficiency.

Scout and evaluate high‑impact, future‑focused projects across SCM domains including inventory, logistics, procurement, obsolescence, and material accounting.

Drive innovation and future readiness by embedding technology‑driven solutions into core supply chain processes.

Technology Adoption, AI Integration & Digital Transformation

Define and execute a multi‑year technology adoption roadmap, with emphasis on AI and digital solutions.

Deploy AI‑driven initiatives to ensure new products are primed for manufacturing success, efficiency, and scalability.

Lead digital transformation of key processes and facilities to enhance consistency and operational excellence.

Maximize cross‑deployment of digital solutions across plants to drive standardization and long‑term competitiveness.

Education Qualification

Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical / Automobile 

Bachelors of Technology in Mechanical / Automobile

Diploma in Engineering in Mechanical / Automobile

PGDM / MBA in Operations Managements 

General Experience

6 to 10 years of experience in Mfg operations, Project managements 

Expertise in Lean manufacturing, Quality tools (APQP, QC Story, Value Mapping), 

Proficiency in production planning, scheduling, and conversion cost analysis to enhance operational efficiency.

Problem solving and Data analysis,

Proficiency in cost and investment analysis, business case evaluation, and budgeting.

Knowledge of manufacturing ecosystem dependencies and IT/OT integration.
