Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
Technical Skills and Knowledge:
Manufacturing Processes:
Deep understanding of electronics parts manufacturing processes and mechanical components.
Materials:
Knowledge of various material grades and their suitability for specific applications in electronics and Mechanical manufacturing.
Delivery :
Ensure all development activities done on stipulated time line and meet all project requirements.
APQP:
Experience with APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) and its application in part development.
Component Development:
Ability to develop and procure components from vendors within time, cost, and quality objectives.
Supplier Management:
Experience in vendor Quality issues analysis, rationalization, system and process assessment, and time frame agreement.
Design Review:
Ability to review design and manufacturing feasibility assessments with R&D considering quality focus.
Problem Solving:
Proactive identification and resolution of issues, maintaining quality standards.
Other Important Skills:
Communication:
Excellent communication and coordination skills for effective collaboration with design teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
Project Management:
Ability to track project timelines, identify critical path activities, and develop risk mitigation plans.
Cost Management:
Understanding of cost reduction techniques and the ability to implement them without compromising quality and delivery.
Teamwork:
Ability to work effectively within a team and contribute to project goals.
Reporting:
Experience in creating and maintaining databases and systems for project-related MIS.
3DX,SAP,Cordys experience required.
Responsibilities:
Part Development: Managing the entire process of part development, from initial design to final production.
Quality Assurance: Ensuring that parts meet quality standards throughout the development and production lifecycle.
Cost Management: Working to achieve QCD (Quality, Cost, and Delivery) targets for all new products and improvements to existing products.
Supplier Management: Developing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring their capacity and adherence to timelines.
Risk Management: Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation plans.
Reporting: Providing regular updates on project progress and performance.
Experience
§ M.E./ M.Tech  8-12 yrs.
