Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Execute vehicle performance, Range optimization in different duty cycles .

Vehicle level assessment of aftertreatment system calibration (BS6) which includes DOC, DPF and SCR

Develop and execute environmental trials at altitude , summer , winter

Evaluate OBD monitoring strategies and perform calibration of different monitors

Handles multiple analytical tools / softwares like AVL CONCERTO, INCA, PUMA

Provides good understanding of heavy duty diesel emissions BS6.1 & 6.2 regulatory requirements including diagnostics

Optimization of RDE emission and support COP and ISC compliance activities

Analyse and determines Heavy duty commercial vehicle application duty cycles and its criticallity

Define and execute calibration plan and DOE on vehicle and support Engine dyno calibration with inputs from vehicle

Report making and presentations to communicate findings, draw conclusions and give recommendations on next steps

Stays aware of new and upcoming aftertreatment technologies and testing methods

Interaction with FIE, TC, after treatment suppliers and other emission hardware suppliers

Assessment and documentation of test results and delivery of calibrations.
Creation of technical development reports for status of the completed calibration tasks.

Experience

4 to 6 Years

Industry Preferred

Automotive OEM, Engine Consultancy like AVL, Bosch etc., FIE supplier.

Diesel Engine combustion development.

Hands on experience in INCA, Concerto, Cameo.

Performance & emission development skills in diesel engines
Knowledge in emission norms.
Knowledge in aftertreatment systems.
Communication and presentation skills
Data Analysis and report preparation
Test bed planning and execution
