Sr. Engineer - Battery Cooling

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

1. EV Cooling system, its parts design & development. 
2. Design of EV cooling layout for battery & Motor cooling. 
3. Design of layout with integration of Chiller, Cold radiator, 3way & 4way valve 
4. Interaction with supplier for DVP, design targets, DFMEA
5.BOM and design control for meeting TCP targets at subsystem level
6.CAD development of parts, assemblies, drawing and interaction with DMU
7. Interaction with CAE, NVH, VI, validation, proto, CME, Service, PVT for meeting subsystem targets and requirements
8.Review, control and track - DVP, concerns, design

Experience

8-10 years ( must have atleast 2 years experience in EV cooling system )

Qualifications

B.E./B.Tech/M tech 

General Requirements

1. Expert in EV Cooling system and product knowledge with Customer usage
2. Good knowledge of 1D simulation, Selection of Radiator, Chiller, Compressor, Electrical fan & Motor for cooling system, hose material, subsystem calculations, part life calculation
3. Knowledge of System optimization to improvement of battery range  
4. Knowledge of Types of battery using in Automotive 
5. Homologation and future regulation roadmap 
6.Knowhow of Quality tools & detailed knowledge of material, process and cost levers
7.Knowledge of DFM, DFA, DFS, DFMEA
8 System and product knowledge with design calculation
9.Understanding of allied aggregates
