Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

1. Frame & PT Mounts Design and Development for SCV platform
2. Deliver Frame & mounting aggregates as per QCDW (Quality, cost, delivery, weight) for projects
3. Good Hands on experience in CATIA V5, GD&T / Drafting of sheet metal components.
4. Ability to generate Multiple CAD Design concept for frame ladder & mtg aggregates.
5. Knowledge of Metallurgy, manufacturing Processes for Sheet Metal components.
6. Interact with CAE, NVH, CDMM, validation, plant team, homologation for aggregate development
7. Ability to resolve the Field, manufacturing, service & quality issues.
8. DFMEA, Design review, DVP generation, analysis using QC tools.
9. Ability to handle Field problem for existing vehicles in engine mounts.
10. Ability to analyse pros and cons of different designs taken into consideration performance, cost, packaging, and so on.
11. Ability to deliver the Project execution from concept to production stage

Experience

4-7  years’ experience in Automotive

Industry Preferred

B.E/B. Tech-Mechanical/Automobile

General Requirements

1. Ability to design Frame & PT Mounts for Small Commercial Vehicle from concept to production.

2. Knowledge of different type of chassis for different application and packaging.

3. Design Quality tools –like DFMEA/G8D/7- QC tools

5. Sheet metal design & welded joint design in depth knowledge

6. Sheet metal and tubes manufacturing process in depth knowledge

7.Understanding customer needs and generating innovative solutions
