Sr. Engineer - Cab Design - HVAC

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

1) Experienced in Design and development of Proprietary  HVAC system  (HVAC unit, Condeser, Compressor , Control Panel , AC pipes and heater hoses  etc)

2)Understanding of HVAC system  layout and packaging of HVAC, Condenser, Compressor , Control Panel , AC pipes and heater hoses 

3) Hand's on experience of vehicle level and compnent level perfomance and validation Testing   .

4) Preparation of Technical Requirement Document (SOR), Responsiiblity Matrix ,DFMEA and DVP for FSS Parts and Discussion and Sign off with Supplier.

5) Interaction with Development Team / Suppliers for Mfg. Feasibility , packaging / tooling feasibility study.

6) Designing and details engineering study for supporting mounting scheme for above parts,considering packaging ,assembly, function and tooling aspects.

7) Benchmarking study for competitior's vehicles and systems for packaging, performance , assembly etc. at vehicle level and tear down level.

8) Concerns resolution at supplier level as well as assembly plant level during development phase and field level  post launch phase. Prototype build design release, build support, Homologation testing support and resolution of concerns if any.

9) Interaction with CFT like vehicle integration, CME and other Body / Vehicle aggregates for integration of  parts into the vehicle.

Experience

B.E/B.Tech =  8 to 10 Years
ME/M.Tech = 6 to 8 Years 

Industry Preferred

Automotive / Commercial Vehicle OEM , Tier 1 Auto components

Qualifications

M.E / B.E / Mechanical Engg / Auto Engg

General Requirements

1) Good knowledge of Proprietary of HVAC system & peripheral parts (HVAC unit, Condeser, Compressor , AC pipes
     and heater hoses ) design and development.

2) Good knowledge Psychrometry & Heat load calculations of HVAC system

3) Experience in vehicle level HVAC system testing and validation .

4) Knowledge of component and vehicle level DVP and homolgation

5) Experience in concerns resolution in development testing and in service.

6) Hands on experience in CATIA V5 & Team Center Engineering
